Automation & Data · Automation

Business process automation that removes the handoffs, not the judgment.

We map how work actually moves today, automate the steps that follow clear rules, route exceptions to people and measure cycle time and errors before and after.

Where this helps

Work waits in inboxes and spreadsheets
Requests arrive by email, get copied into a tracker, then re-keyed into another system. Nobody owns the queue, so items sit until someone notices.
The same data is entered three times
Order details, customer records or invoice lines are typed into several systems by hand, and every copy is a chance for a mismatch that someone has to chase later.
Nobody can see where a request is stuck
When a customer or manager asks for status, someone has to check four tools and ask two colleagues. The process has no single view and no measure of how long each step takes.

What we deliver

01
Process map and baseline
A documented current-state map of steps, systems, owners and handoffs, with a measured baseline for cycle time, volume and error rate where the data exists.
02
Target workflow design
The future-state process showing which steps are automated, which stay with people, where approvals sit and how exceptions are handled.
03
Automated workflow and integrations
The running automation — triggers, business rules, system integrations and document generation — built on a workflow platform or as a custom service, whichever fits.
04
Exception and approval handling
Clear routing for cases the rules do not cover, with the context a person needs to decide quickly and a record of what they decided.
05
Monitoring and run log
Alerts for failed runs, a log of every item processed and a simple dashboard of throughput and cycle time.
06
Handover documentation
Runbooks, configuration notes and an owner on your side who knows how to change a rule without calling us.

How it works

  1. 01

    Map the current process

We walk through the process with the people who do it, collect real examples and record where time and errors actually occur.

  2. 02

    Choose what to automate

Steps are sorted into rules-based automation, AI-assisted decisions and work that should stay manual. We start with the highest-volume, lowest-ambiguity steps.

  3. 03

    Build and integrate

We build the workflow in short iterations, connecting to your systems and testing each step against real cases.

  4. 04

    Run in parallel

The automation runs alongside the manual process until outputs match and the team trusts the exception handling.

  5. 05

    Cut over and measure

We switch over in stages, compare cycle time and error rate against the baseline and adjust the rules.

Design decisions we make with you

  • Rules or AI

Deterministic rules handle anything that can be written down. Where a step needs reading unstructured input or making a judgment call, we add AI workflow automation with review points.

  • Platform or custom code

Low-code platforms suit moderate volumes and frequent rule changes. Custom services suit high volumes, complex logic or strict hosting requirements.

  • Integration method

We prefer official APIs and webhooks. Where a system has none, we agree on file exchange or database access before considering screen automation.

  • Human oversight

Every automated process has a named owner, an exception queue and a way to pause it. Approval thresholds are set by the business, not the tooling.

  • Ownership

You own the workflows, configuration and documentation, and they run in accounts you control.

Questions buyers ask

Business process automation handles steps that follow clear rules — if this, then that. AI workflow automation adds steps that need to read unstructured input or make a judgment. Most processes use both, and we map which is which before building.

A process with high volume, stable rules and a clear owner. Rare, highly variable processes rarely repay the effort. We help you pick one during the mapping phase.

It stops that item and sends it to an exception queue with the context attached. Nothing is silently skipped, and the run log shows every item and its outcome.
