Automation & Data · Automation

n8n, Make and Zapier workflows built to be run, not just demonstrated.

We design low-code automations with named owners, error handling, credentials management and monitoring, and we tell you when a workflow has outgrown the platform.

What we deliver

Where this helps

Automations nobody remembers building
Dozens of workflows were set up over the years by different people. Some still run, some fail quietly, and nobody is sure which ones the business depends on.
Failures are discovered by customers
A token expires or an API changes, the workflow stops, and the first sign is a missing order confirmation or a lead that was never followed up.
A workflow has outgrown its platform
What started as a five-step zap now has branches, loops and workarounds. Task costs climb, runs time out and every change risks breaking something else.

What we deliver

01
Automation inventory and audit
A list of existing workflows with owners, triggers, connected systems, failure history and a recommendation to keep, fix, consolidate or retire each one.
02
Platform recommendation
A reasoned choice between n8n, Make and Zapier for your use case, covering hosting, pricing model, connectors, data handling and who will maintain it.
03
Production-grade workflows
Workflows built with input validation, retries, error branches, idempotent writes and naming conventions your team can follow.
04
Credentials and access setup
Service accounts instead of personal logins, least-privilege scopes and a record of which workflow uses which credential.
05
Monitoring and alerting
Failure notifications to a shared channel, run history review and a simple health check for the workflows that matter most.
06
Custom service extensions
Small custom functions or services for logic the platform handles poorly, called from the workflow rather than replacing it.

How it works

  1. 01

    Inventory and priorities

We review what already runs, what fails and what the business depends on, and agree which workflows to fix or build first.

  2. 02

    Choose the platform

We match the platform to volume, data sensitivity, hosting needs and your team's skills — or confirm the one you already use.

  3. 03

    Build with conventions

Workflows are built with shared naming, error handling and documentation patterns so the next one is consistent with the last.

  4. 04

    Test with real data

We run each workflow against real or realistic records, including the malformed and duplicate cases that break naive builds.

  5. 05

    Hand over and monitor

Your team gets access, documentation and alerting, with an agreed process for who responds when something fails.

Design decisions we make with you

  • n8n, Make or Zapier

Zapier suits simple, app-to-app automations with broad connector coverage. Make suits visual, multi-branch scenarios. n8n suits teams that want self-hosting, code steps and more control over data.

  • When to use custom code

High volumes, complex transformations, strict latency, heavy data or sensitive hosting requirements usually point to a custom service. Many teams run both, with the platform orchestrating and code doing the heavy lifting.

  • Hosting and data handling

Cloud-hosted platforms process data on the vendor's infrastructure. Where that is not acceptable, self-hosted n8n keeps workflow data in your environment.

  • Cost model

Each platform prices by tasks, operations or executions. We estimate cost at your expected volumes before committing to a design.

  • Ownership

Workflows live in your accounts, under your billing, with documentation your team can use without us.

Questions buyers ask

It depends on the workflow. Zapier is quickest for simple app-to-app automations. Make handles more complex visual logic. n8n offers self-hosting and code steps for teams that want more control. We recommend one based on your volume, data and team, not a default.

When workflows need high throughput, complex data transformation, strict hosting controls or become hard to change safely. Often the answer is a hybrid — the platform orchestrates and a small custom service does the heavy work. See business process automation for custom builds.

Yes. We start with an audit of what exists, then stabilize the workflows the business depends on before building anything new.

Yes. All three platforms can call language models. For steps where output quality matters, we add validation and review points — see AI workflow automation.
